Athens to Sell New Generation of HP Latex 700 and 800 Series Printers
HP has announced their newest generation of latex printers, the 64” Latex 700 and 64” Latex 800, and their companion models the 700W and 800W that contain the option for white ink capabilities.
The 700 series features 1 liter ink, while the 800 series has bulk 3 liter ink, lower ink costs and faster print speeds. These printers are designed to provide HP customers with:

- greater productivity
- faster print speeds
- higher quality prints
New White Ink Feature
White ink, is perhaps the most exciting and innovative addition. The white ink system features a constantly circulating ink system that eliminates the need for purging and reduces downtime to change over to white ink to 5 to 8 minutes. The ink is newly formulated and is whiter and more opaque than competitive inks. It contains no OBA’s and will not fade when exposed to light.
Other Features Include
They feature a new generation of latex ink, new printheads with more nozzles and smaller picoliter dot. These features combine to increase both the color gamut and the print resolution.
In addition, the curing temperatures have been reduced by 30% when compared to prior HP printer models, giving better color consistency and more flexibility to media that can be run. An improved take up reel provides better length control for wallpaper and tiling applications, expanding potential market penetration.
